One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. 50% refund after that.
That’s the official policy, but unofficially, if you need to cancel we understand that things happen and we try to re-book the condo as quickly as possible at the same nightly rate. If/when we book a new reservation for your dates, we will provide a refund. In some cases, we also provide last minute discounts to book the condo and work with guests to pro-rate refunds. We try do do what is fair to both of us in situations like this – our property was unavailable to others because you have a reservation to stay there. Obviously, the more lead time that we have to book, the higher the chance of re-booking. There is a chance that we can’t book the condo and you will not receive a refund outside of that provided by our cancellation policy. However, most of the time, we are successful at re-booking unless it is a very last minute cancellation.
We strongly urge guests purchase Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance which is available when you book and up to 14 days prior to your departure. CFAR insurance is also available from many third party companies like Allianz, Amex Assurance, Generali Global Assistance (formerly CSA), Seven Corners, Travelex, and Travel Guard (AIG) are just a few of the trip insurance companies that offer this service. Certain credit cards also offer trip insurance as a benefit from being their customer. You may want to check and see if you have this benefit.
