- Napili Market – Kind of like the Maui version of Trader Joes. Great Poke here. Close to the condo in Napili.
- There is a Costco in Kahaluhi. This is the busiest Costco we’ve ever been to. They seem to have everything.
- Times Market on Lower Honoapiilani Rd. Very convenient, but the prices seem high.
- Safeway in Lahaina at Cannery Mall.
- Lahaina Farms Market is across from Cannery mall in Lahaina, similar to a Whole Foods.
- Whole Foods is in Kahului. If you’re coming to/from the airport it’s worth the effort. The traffic can make this a questionable shopping experience. The lines are always long too – go early or late to avoid that issue.
- Down to Earth Organic foods. On Dairy Road in Kahului. Great store it’s just a long drive from the condo. The deli is great!
- Mana Foods in Paia. This store is worth the 50 minute drive each way just because it’s that good!
- ABC Market down the street from the condo on the beach side by the gas station is making fresh sandwiches, they even have prime rib night! Surprisingly good and reasonably priced!
- Farmers Market – more like a co-op than a grocery store. Good selection of fruits and vegetables. Great local foods. Next to Snorkel Bob’s across from Honokowai Beach Park. 5 minute drive from the condo.
- Tamura’s – I don’t know how to describe this place. One of the best poke bars on the island. They have awesome kalbi ribs in their meat section but this place is technically a grocery store masquerading as a liquor store. One of the best selections of cold beer on the island, their poke bar is unreal and they have a good selection of gourmet foods. Located in Wailuku in an industrial area. Hard to find.
- Island Grocery Depot – tucked out of the way in the Lahaina warehouse district, this place has a lot of great stuff. Not huge like Costco but you don’t have to drive 30-45 minutes each way either!
